Summer Trombone Workshop 2013 will explore trombone repertoire in nine days of intensive study. A distinguished faculty will offer students private and public lessons, lectures and concerts. Students will work closely with faculty toward public performances at the end of the workshop.

Tenor and Bass trombone players are welcome to apply.

Enrollment is limited in order to insure a small participant-to-faculty ratio. Applicants will be invited to participate as a Full-Participant or a Part-Time Participant.  Each Full-Participant will play in two master classes and two private lessons as well as in a trombone quartet and large trombone ensemble.  Each Part-Time Participant will play in one master class, will have full access to all public events, and will play in a large ensemble and a quartet.

STW 2013 will be held in association with the Boyer College of Music and Dance, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. The workshop is open to serious students and young professionals.

All participants will be able to purchase the Gordon Cherry "Complete Low Brass Excerpt Collection" on CD-Rom containing thousands of pages of public domain low brass parts (complete) from the symphonic literature, for a discount price of $59.00 plus $3.00 shipping.  A 25% discount is available for participants on all music on the Cherry website.
