"Neue Kraft Fuhlend" (With Renewed Strength) Announcement
My new CD "Neue Kraft Fuhlend" (With Renewed Strength), is done. This double cd of music for trombone and orchestra or chamber ensemble is a high point in my career. There are many people to thank for their hard work, all listed below.
Firstly, I would like to thank Ovidiu Marinescu for his hard work and dedication on this project. Without his conducting and producing skills this project would never come to a conclusion. My work as a soloist became possible because I was able to leave everything else in his hands.
I would also like to thank composers Maurice Wright, Diane Jones, David Matthew Brown, David Loeb, Carson Cooman, Robert Cuckson, and my father, Eitan Avitsur for their participation in this project. Performing high-level compositions make the technical aspect of the work much easier. Thank you for your trust and encouragement.
On the CD you will hear the "New Russia" State Symphony Orchestra and impeccable pianists Martha Locker and Gloria Kim. Their sound and talent is a dream come true for any collaborating musician. I cannot wait to work with them again.
Lastly, I would like to thank Pavel Lavrenenkov and Andrew Bove. You two are geniuses!!! I trust you to the nth degree. Thank you for making the finished product one to remember.
