Trio Hidas

Founded in 2005 during the Summer Trombone Workshop, Trio Hidas is quickly establishing a growing reputation. The members, David Taylor, Nitzan Haroz and Haim Avitsur are individual artists in their own right, but the combination is voltaic.  As well as honoring the trio by lending his name, renowned composer Frigyes Hidas wrote a trio for the group entitled Eight Miniatures. The group is currently participating in workshops and residencies across the country and the Far East while working on their first recording.
